Bodega Man is one of the singles off of The Ehems self-titled debut album "The Ehems". The song is an ode to the bodega men or ockys of NYC, inspired by maTs Bodega Man, Miguel. Miguel embodied the NY spirit, a good man working his tail off day after day, all while serving his neighborhood. Bodega Man was written during the pandemic, at a time when many businesses closed their doors, but the Bodegas kept the city alive in many different neighborhoods. Bodega Man is an ode to the unsung heroes who make NYC the special place it is.
