The Ehems are a trio based out of NYC. The expression "Ehem" is the sound someone makes when they're clearing their throat, trying to attract attention, express doubt or give a warning. The name is telling in that “ehem” is an involuntary expression in many cases - in other words, it's something you need to do, something you need to get out, not something you can control. This makes it versatile enough to be unsound and/or robust - just as The Ehems are. The Ehems ultimately strive to be undefined, ironic and contradictory, yet universal and decisive, creating something truly new and unique.
