The Churvy Record & Book Stand is a chrome wire stand built to hold your favorite LPs, coffee table books, and magazines in one place. Inspired by the mid-century wire record racks that lived in every serious listener's living room, it brings that same quiet, functional beauty into a modern home — sturdy enough for a growing record collection, minimal enough to disappear into any room you put it in.

Why we made it

At Olio, we make things for people who actually listen to their records and actually read their books. The Churvy came from our own problem: the records we were spinning most often never made it back to the shelf, and the books we were working through lived in piles on the coffee table. We wanted something that let the stuff we love stay out, in rotation, without looking like clutter.

Capacity

The stand comfortably holds 25–35 standard 12" vinyl LPs, along with hardcover books, coffee table monographs, and magazines. The open-wire design keeps everything upright and supported so records don't warp or lean, while making it easy to flip through covers and pull out what you want to play or read next.

Materials & build

Crafted from 5mm chrome wire. Each stand is heavy enough to stay put with a full load and finished smoothly so it won't scratch your shelves, records, or dust jackets. The chrome finish reflects light the way vintage hi-fi equipment does — warm, not clinical — and pairs as well with wood and stone as it does with painted surfaces.
